Carley McGoldrick

About

Carley McGoldrick is an artist and arts educator based in Toronto ON. She is an emerging figure in the art world and is known for her process-based work and artist multiples, which she creates in community spaces and studios.

Her printmaking mentor once called her a cultural anthropologist because of her work’s focus on exploring and disseminating ideas around culture, identity, and nostalgia.

Carley’s ongoing project, The Uninhabitable Earth, delves into the effects of climate change and highlights the individuals fighting against its destruction through a series of screenprints.

Currently, Carley is finishing her BFA at OCAD University with hopes of pursuing a Bachelor of Education and teaching Visual Arts in Secondary School.
